Martinelli was founded in 1973 under the slogan “reasonable luxury”, with a product aimed mainly at businessmen and a brand that gained renown at a national level. Since then, and to this day, Martinelli has been reinventing itself with the concept of “New elegance”, adapting to modern times by launching collections for both men and women.

Since we started out in 1973, we’ve been a leader in elegance. Being Martinelli means having an attitude rooted in distinction and good taste. It means enjoying beauty as a form of artistic expression. It means choosing simplicity as a way of life, it means seizing the moments which time offers us to read a good book, travel, talk; in short, everything that nurtures the soul and personal growth. And of course, the things that best stand for what we believe in are our shoes.

Much has changed over the last 50 years, but our spirit remains the same. Five decades reinventing the concept of elegance, transferring it from a design on paper to our customers’ feet.

We strive to improve our processes so we become more and more sustainable, always working with the best professionals.

Sustainability

We’re gradually implementing respectful materials in our collections and we only use leathers from suppliers certified by the Leather Working Group. Our boxes are made of recycled cardboard; we have eliminated 100% of plastics from our packaging; the energy we consume in our facilities comes from renewable sources and we’re also carbon neutral in scope 1 and 2.
